5 Days Left, and No Plot Outline!
Aaaaargh. I’m getting stressed out about NaNoWriMo. It’s Friday. I haven’t gotten my plot outlined. My writing friend here where I live is waiting for the deadline, and I’m still trying to decide if I can summon up the gumption to actually write an outline. The kickoff party is tomorrow, and then I start writing Halloween night at midnight.
What is my problem? I just seem to be able to find SO many other preferable things to do at any given moment. Hence, the sporadic blog-posting. It all goes back, I guess, to what I had to say about why I write. I love the ideas, the imagining. I don’t so much love the actual moment of putting fingers to keyboard and creating something lasting. And yet I’m in love with the feeling of having written something.
Oh well. This time a month from now I either will or will not have finished. 
Until then, I’ll just focus on “bookin’ it.”
